My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book is not for the faint of heart or the prudish. There are explicit scenes of some sexual practices that might not appeal to every reader.
That being said, this book was so well written that I found myself drawn in.
Everyone has secrets. Part of themselves they don’t like to look at too closely. Sophie is no different. Although she likes others to look closely. Very closely.
By day she is clean cut Sophie Harding from a Nice Family.
By night she is the submissive Missy, offering herself to be used as any dominant may see fit.
Then, through her work, Sophie meets someone. A man she thinks is worthy of the name. A man who can use his muscular strength and his lean body as it is needed. But he has never heard of bdsm. He’d certainly never raise his hand to a woman, no matter how hard she begs him to.
Can Sophie capture his heart and give him what he wants? More, can she persuade him to give HER what she so desperately needs?
This book is the second in a series set in and around the same place. Each one works perfectly as a stand alone, but as you read the series, you become immersed in the stories the characters have to tell. And meeting a character from a previous book? Feels like a little present from the author- a wink, and a “see you soon”
