Rain Medici has lived a sheltered, cloistered life. Due to extreme ill health as a child, she had to be carefully tended which, as an adult, makes her value her independence so much more.
So when she is kidnapped and forced back into seclusion, the last thing she ever expected to feel was empathy toward her captor.
This book had me turning the pages over and over, promising myself “just one more chapter” until, at 3 o’clock this morning, I had finished the book. I’ve already set up the next book in the series as this first book does not stand alone – especially in the sense that you will crave more.
