Hawk by Jo Raven ( Review by Stacey )

Hawk (Sex and Bullets, #2)Hawk by Jo Raven

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After being given the opportunity to review Caught – the prologue to this book, I greedily jumped at the chance to review Hawk for Jo Raven.

Have you ever had one of those books that just grabs you from the start? Well if not, go out and buy this one, because it will have you addicted from the very beginning!!

In the prologue we were introduced to Layla, a girl whose ex boyfriend decided he would choose a very public restaurant to break up with her – citing his reasoning as her being ‘frigid’. That’s where the very (sounding) Jamie ‘Hawk’ Fleming enters our little scenario! After over hearing what happens, he steps in to be the knight in shining armour…. thus leading to a relationship of no strings sex…..

Now to get to Hawk! This is a story that carries on from Storm, but one that can be read as a stand alone. In ‘Storm’ we learn of an organisation that Storm, Hawke and Rook’s parents are aligned with and that our three boys are trying to escape.

To begin this story, we enter to learn that Hawk has been kidnapped – intentionally, by the organisation to draw out more information for the police. Needless to say things don’t go to plan and he finds himself in a position that he hadn’t counted on. Then enter Layla – Hot Body, who just happens to be visiting the warehouse owned by her father, that Hawk is being held hostage in.

This is a story full of suspense, action and of course hot sex!!

I’m not one who likes to give away spoilers but what I will say is that you will not be disappointed, it really is a well written story that will keep you on your toes until the very last word.

I would highly recommend this to anyone slightsmile emoticon
